REACH REB series spring-applied electromagnetic brake is a type of dry friction brake(failsafe when power-on, and brake when power-off) with reliable braking and holding force.
Our electromagnetic brake has a wide selection range, various performance indicators which can be combined and adjusted according to customer requirements. It also has many optional accessories to satisfy the user’s various demands.

The modular product design of the REB series spring-loaded electromagnetic brake makes it easy for customers to choose. By combining different accessories, it can meet the different needs of customers (see figure below).
The REB series spring-loaded electromagnetic brake is mainly composed of basic components and functional accessories, including cover plate, friction plate, dust cover, release handle, micro switch, brake protector, etc. The function of each accessory is as follows:
Cover plate: If there is no suitable friction surface on the installation body, a cover plate can be selected as the friction surface.
Friction plate: When the installation body has a flatness that is not suitable as a friction surface due to material reasons, a friction plate can be selected, such as a motor with an aluminum alloy shell.
REB05 Series electromagnetic brake
Dust cover: It can effectively prevent external dust, small droplets, moisture, dirt, and other foreign matter from entering the inside of the brake.
Release handle: In case of equipment failure or power outage, the brake can be released through the release handle, making it easy to check or move the equipment to a safe location.
Micro switch: Used for monitoring clearance in occasions that require it.
Brake protector: Sealed design of the brake to prevent water and dust from entering, and the protection level and be reach to IP65.
