Notably, the RZLD power control module requires only 7 VDC during operation, utilizing a momentary 24 VDC power supply to initiate brake release. This energy-efficient solution reduces power consumption to approximately one-ninth of that of standard electromagnetic brakes, significantly prolonging battery life. Consequently, AGVs can operate on the ground for longer durations, improving brake longevity. Additionally, their slim design, with half the thickness of other AGV brakes, ensures compatibility with robots featuring slender profiles.
